On an ocean-view hilltop, we built this 3,800-square-foot home to maximize the view and preserve the surrounding oak forest. The Craftsman-style home offers extensive architectural detail, including a redwood and mahogany stairwell that we built on site. All the custom doors and windows are built from ribbon-grain mahogany. The wood-paneled breakfast nook downstairs overlooks the swimming pool, and the fireplace centers the paneled living room.
