For this traditional timber-frame home, Port Orford cedar harvested in Oregon was shipped to the East Coast, where a renowned timber-frame company painstakingly milled and fitted the posts and beams. Once the frame was assembled on site, we applied traditional finishes over it. The heart of this three-story home is its spacious great room on the middle level. An open library loft comprises the third floor of the 5,000-square-foot home.
