  When I was ready to pursue my lifetime goal of building a home on the coast, I interviewed numerous builders/general contractors, asking each the same questions. When I talked with Greg Howerton of Howerton Construction in Aptos, I felt I had found the best. He listened, we communicated easily and he understood my concerns.

  Throughout the building process, Greg was always in control of the project. He has great skill in managing his crew and the sub-contractors, as well as interacting with and reassuring my neighbors. My home was completed in a timely fashion and with few add-ons, except of course, for those additional things I just had to have.
